I live in a log house, believe me log walls with no extra insulation etc. are pretty, nice, and not great insulation. We're thinking of adding wall board here for that reason.

Up on the mountains out this way you often see where people have bought a piece of land and live in a lawn building. They will put in electric and a pot bellied stove for heat. Some build outhouses or use the eco toilets. They dig wells and collect rain water. Some of them are quite nice.

Nice garage, work shop,or kids play house, definitely can't be for people to live in..
If someone needs that size of a building for storage space, I think it would be time to say "I'm a hoarder, please help"..
