Hi everyone,

What are you doing today?

I'm quilting, which doesn't make much of a change at the minute *yay*. Very happy to see my bulbs from the discount shop have started to appear, there are loads of birds in the garden and the fog we had all day yesterday has cleared so we can see a lovely blue sky. Have a good day whatever you're doing.

Hi a happy new year britbunny i have not had the chance to post for a while.
No blue sky here yet but the fogs gone here too.
Im off to work and then a swim lesson for my youngest dd today x

Going to workout & get a sauna for 30 min. Then to the bulk food store. Then home to mop the kitchen floor.Wash the dishes Then need to clean the oven. Then will get the mail & take the dog for a walk. Want to play w/cuttlebug that I got from my son for Christmas. Wash clothes too; I better get up if I want to get all this done! LoL

Hi DD, Happy New Year, good to hear from you. I can't believe the fog hung round all day. We drove along the prom and couldn't even see the tower, madness!

Just crawled behind my computer for the first time today and it's almost 4 pm.
Definitely something not right.

I got some stuff done this morning including groceries and then after lunch I fell asleep on the couch and have just woke up.
My mother would now say - you must have needed it.

Thankfully today we have seen the sun for the first time in - oh I don't know how long. There was even a patch of blue sky.

I woke up this morning at 4 am with a blinding headache, then I couldn't get back to sleep because I was mulling over my English classes yesterday.
I have come to the conclusion that I am completely out of my depth in teaching these classes at this school.
I can teach really well but when I hear about and encounter the pure misery of some of these kids, my heart breaks.

I discovered that one of the kids in my class - an absolutely ADORABLE little guy of 8 - is in an physically abusive home.
I don't have to do anything about it because it has already been picked up by my coordinator, but I can't keep these kinds of things at a distance as I should be able to do.

My contract runs till July 3rd in this school and to be quite honest, the way I am feeling just now, I think that I won't ask to have it renewed.
