Default Your day, Friday January 11th

Bit of an early start for me today.
Have an appointment at 8.45 am with the dental hygienist - not one of my favorite things to do.
Before then I need to get some groceries.

Then it will be a very exciting day for me - cleaning and laundry - don't know if I will be able to contain my excitement. LOL

    Have a great day everyone!!!

Your Fridays are about as thrilling as are mine!

Minimum housework. Bet my "minimum" is smaller than yours!

Exercises as prescribed by the physiotherapist, plus - probably - a session of free-weights at home (I'm likely to get cabin fever if I don't do something physically challenging).

Singing lesson this afternoon; singing exam due late February/into March and, as usual, the performance bit is no problem, it's the music-theory that worries me.

Friday evening is when we have a real meal, as opposed to whatever happened to be in the 'fridge: with wine, because it's Friday.

    And so far, no snow:

Yep, another exciting day here too! I always get everything ready for the weekend so I don't have to think about house stuff other than dealing with the rabbits and little things like washing up, not that I wash up, DH does *yay*. I'm expecting my new quilting fabric to arrive today, I have no reason to believe it will I just really want it to

This evening we're going to visit MIL. Our last visit to her was a bit odd as it got a little heated. Her husband used to deal with all the financial stuff and she's having to learn a lot and quickly now she's on her own. Plus she's going to have to get used to a drop in her income but is reluctant to make any changes even though she's learning that loyalty to companies is costing her hundreds of pounds more than it needs to. I don't think she's going to change but if she doesn't she's going to have to start buying her food somewhere other than M&S. I know she went out this week and did something new so hopefully that went well and the conversation will be a bit more positive!

Have a good weekend everyone. Does anyone have anything fun planned?

Raining and strangely warm in MI today. Today is my hubby's 51 birthday. So cake baking is on the afternoon's list todo.

Hubby and I have been watching the BBC series about Blackpool which has been on TV the last couple of weeks.
    It is really great!
    Did you see it?

the BBC seemed obsessed with BPL at the minute. Have you been watching the old with with all the old comedians or the Summer in Blackpool one filmed last year? We've seen bits of each of them but only by accident we didn't know they were on.

Yes I saw both of them - brought back a LOAD of old memories. We really loved watching them. Hope they have some more.
I LOVED seeing Charlie Cairoli again. I used to go to the circus every time we were in Blackpool.

I worked. I came home and threw my dirty duds in the washer and jumped in the shower.

I have to get the kids from the bus. Well, ds is at grandma's because he gets out earlier. The bus stop is by her house (7miles from my house), so I make just one trip because I would be driving all over the place to get each of them. This way ds can walk his dog before I pick them up. My ex's mother keeps the kids' dogs at her house whenever ex and kids are working or in school, or just visiting. I wish my mom ran a daycare for my dog lol.

Nothing exciting here, really. The kids are with their dad this weekend starting tonight. I will probably read a book or watch a movie.

Tonight I am making homemade pizza for dinner.
