Good afternoon everyone,

I am always happy when it is February because there is always more chance of a spring day.
Of course if you look out my window now, you wuold think that spring is far far away.
But knowing Dutch weather we could almost have a heat wave next week or a snow storm - you can never tell.

Today I have - for a change - been cleaning and doing laundry.
Also went to the cash and carry to get a new vacuum cleaner.
I bought a dyson - always wanted one and now it was on offer.

Good morning

havnt been here in a few days, this week got very busy! we have been having quite a few meetings with the youngests school, they are changing his curriculum slightly which will hopefully help with some of the meltdowns lately

I jst love this school so much its a shame he cant stay here forever but its only till sept 2014 when he will join mainstream.

how do you like your dyson? I got one a couple of years ago after buying cheap ones and having them break constantly..i decided that the most cost effective way was to get a decent one! i love it.

its been a week of housework and meetings and i have no idea what has happened to the rest of my days..it flew by! this weekend my daughter has a friend over for a sleepover and i need to get some sewing orders completed and some cards made up..apart from that i plan to take the boys for a nice walk along the beach/ woods..its actually not raining for once so we need to make the most of it!

Let us know how you like your Dyson. I used to have one and hated it, so I will now always have a trusty Henry!

Yesterday was a ton of fun. We decided against going to Nottingham in the end and went to Shrewsbury instead. And it was the right decision. Has anyone ever been? What a place! Why people go to York or Chester instead I will never know. It is amazing! I could go on all day about the place, I am desperate to go back and we plan to very soon, had it not been for the buns I think we would have stayed for the weekend. Beautiful, beautiful and amazing.

It was a bit mad lol.. Lots of giggling!! I see alsorts! I have a page on fb called Ashgate Crafts and I make bibs, bags, crayon rolls, cards, notebooks, chalk mats, purses etc! I used to see as a hobby so I sell a few things I make and it funds my fabric obsession lol

And I've never been to Shrewsbury , I shall put it on our places to go list.. I'm in the uk every summer to stay with my mum so we always plan lots of days out

Shrewsbury really is worth a look. I've always been one of those people who could never understand when people went on about how they loved a place and wanted to visit all the time. Now I understand it, it's the first place I've ever felt that way about. If I can remember how to do it I'll stick a few photos up somewhere, but they don't really give a true idea of how amazing it is.
