Your day, Wednesday February 6th 2013

What a surprise/shock when I woke this morning.
It was white everywhere - AGAIN!!!!!!

It seems to be melting quite quickly though, thank goodness.

Yesterday at school, everything went well except for one little guy.
Last week this guy complained continuously about everything we were making;
'I don't like this', 'I don't want to eat this'.

After a while the co-ordinator passed by and I asked him, why is this little guy actually here since he doesn't like ANYTHING and won't eat/try anything.
He just shrugged his shoulders - GREAT - an answer I can work with LOL!!
This week I said to the little guy that he was allowed to say ONCE that he didn't like something but then I didn't want to hear him.
This worked but he was not happy - it seems that this kid is only happy when he is complaining.

I have English classes all this afternoon.
It is a gifted child program and believe me when I tell you that these kids really keep me on my toes.

Further it is the normal routine today, laundry, tidying up and cooking.
Don't know what I will be making for dinner yet today but one thing is certain it will be easy to make.

Sounds like the little guy is a little spoiled, having to eat new things will hopefully doing him good.
I have an application interview this afternoon, so I am a little nervous. I guess I ll just have to do my best and hope for the best though. And luckily it is still looking like clear roads inhere.

I can't wake up today. We went to see Thurston Moore (guitarist) last night and I don't know why but I was worn out by the end of the gig. It wasn't far away and it was at a tiny venue so it's not as though I'd dragged myself half way across the country or anything. Hey ho. I have that feeling where I think I have something to do this afternoon but I can't think what it is...

I wish that I could sleep! Only got 4 hrs & supposed to work hope we're not busy today. I haven't worked in 2 wks cause we've been so slow with all the snow & cold here. Dh sent out some resumes for me. He seems to think that I won't work there again; thinks my boss is stringing me along. Maybe I'll here something from them. I really like working where I'm at good hrs & close to home & great boss. Just need more hrs. Going to vacuum downstairs & stairs & hallway. Make my friend a birthday/valentine card sweep the kitchen & clean the kitchen cabinets. I'll workout also.

been a busy day here, I went to a meditation class this morning, a friend has been at me to try it out..it was very relaxing and i will definatly be back..best of all it was free! the this afternoon i took Jamie to swimming class and the other two kids to the park to feed the ducks..poor things were starving! tomorrow we have school meetings again..it seems like im living there at the moment lol

im glad we dont have snow! its just been very breezy here

what is it that you do in the school Avril? im sorry the boy was complaining, maybe he has a problem with trying new foods/ sensory things? I know Jack will not under any circumstances try alot of food, he has alot of sensory issues with that..he told me this morning he hates eating..he only will eat soft kinds of food..maybe an alternative to him just being spoilt
