Your day, Sunday February 10th 2013

Yesterday's dinner at friends was nice but unfortunately they served something that doesn't agree with me as a result of which I was in the bathroom for almost an hour during the night (I will spare you the details).
One thing that they served that I absolutely loved (and definitely does agree with me) was parsnip soup. It was delicious. I have asked for the recipe since it definitely something I will be making here.

Today we are having a nice a relaxing day at home. It snowed during the night AGAIN!!!!!!! and once again our world is white.
It is melting quite a bit though - glad about that.

I have declared myself "Too disgusting to appear in public" as I am on the second day of a head cold. So I am staying home with a roll of toilet paper by my side (for my nose, not the other end).

Hugs, well I am afraid snow is common in the Netherlands and Belgium in February. It is better than the year we had snow for nearly 2 months straight though. I hope the snow will be gone by Monday morning.

I haven't really done anything besides entertainment today. I got a call from a job I applied for on Friday and they would call me back but didn't, can only hope they ll call back on Monday I guess.

Today dh & I visited a local church. Was a very nice service. Got the Sunday paper for the coupons. Came home & went thru them & filed the ones needed. Watched the end of Anne of Greene Gables & Downtown Abby from last week. Went for a walk w/dh & dog. Made dinner Moscatolli & salad for dinner. Washed a load of darks & put away.
