Done to much yesterday it was blistering hot here 101 yesterday today rain is moving in. Sweeping moping the house & & laundry washing in cold and hanging dry in house. Left overs for supper. My friend took 2 shirts back to Pennys to exchange no gas. Got electric bill for house $232 for 3200 sq. foot house still trying to figure that out if it is high. Mil is out of pain meds and hollered at me for not drying her clothes said it was her machine and to dry them. I am to sick for this now.

it is sooooo humid here today.

I did my errands for work this morning, and stopped by kohl's with 2 coupons to get our father's day gifts for dh.

we got hubby a pair of sunglasses (which he doesn't have since he lost last year's pair), a pair of flip flops (his old pair broke) & a little vacuum for his truck

total before coupons: $40ish, minus two $10 coupons =
total spent: $22 for 3 gifts

I'm happy with that.

rest of today is going to be spent cleaning house, working on our quickbooks (which takes me forever) & goofing off online

I have no more money for groceries this month, so I made homemade tortillas for our tacos instead of running to the store and buying some.

I also packed dh's lunch for work this morning, which I am hoping will become a habit, it will save us half the gas he uses for work if he is not driving home for lunch.

gave the kids powdered milk with their cereal this morning instead of whole milk. i am hoping i can manage to make the milk last until the end of the month. i have about 1 1/2 gallons of whole milk frozen, that i'd bought on sale previously, so it shouldn't be a huge problem, but we go through lots of milk in baking, oatmeal, pancakes, etc etc...

DD and I haven't flushed the toilet at all today. lol. i told her not to flush unless it's #2. our last water bill was $158.73!!! we already have low flush toilets so i'm looking to conserve in other ways... like not running the water when i'm washing dishes and taking military showers.

the $232 elec bill for a 3200 sq foot home is pretty good in my opinion! was the air on at all? if so, even better....that is the size of our home and when the AC is on, our bill is much more than that....

*all meals from pantry/fridge/freezer
*laundry done during off peak hours. Used dryer just to fluff things.
*recording movies on free trial channels for entertainment
*picked fresh vegetables from garden

Trash day in close by neighborhood so taking a healthy walk-lunch out to look thru the offerings at the curb, find treasure & booty...

Good Morning!! It's a no work day today so I am enjoying the start of another three day weekend. DH is off island for the weekend too, so I can really focus on getting a lot done - or not!!

On my list for today is:

1. Dark laundry
2. White laundry
3. clean out car
4. Go through 5 boxes of books
5. Clean vanity in MB
6. Find fabric to back quilt
7. Finish 7/4 gifts
8. Pack above
9. Call Polly
10. Call Bernie
11. Work in backyard
