I think I will keep ours about the same maybe a little bit more, since we decided to only eat out on special occasions(which by the way is saving us $120 a mo)so I'm uping ours by $50 our anniversary is at the end of the month so I need some great creative ideas for a romantic dinner(and a babysitter)

    Goal:$250
    Total:$0
Family size:4,2adults,1picky 4yr old,1hungry 14mo old and a coupld more kids each week.

Ok, we are soo stocked up on things like chicken, bacon, ham, peanut butter etc..(everything but formula really)
I am going to put my goal for this month at 85$ since we REALLY stocked up last month.. I have over FORTY boxes of cereal! Lol..

So lets see, if we get maybe 6 gallons of milk that is about 24$
Formula for 4 weeks..about 15$(using formula checks to get total down)
Produce for 4 weeks ..about 12$
Meat/soda's and 'free' or nearly free couponing trips... I'll leave the rest: 34$

I might be forgetting something..but I know we've got plenty of diapers also..so HOPEFULLY I'll stick to this

The only reason I am budgeting so low is because I really am going to be stocking up a LOT this month(I'm still going to get some more sliced cheese for about a dollar per pack of sliced cheese) We really need to start paying off credit card bills also so I'm hoping to put that grocery money we would have spent, to pay it off.

    Goal: 85$
    Total: 0$
Family of three, one in diapers formula and solids; and two adults, one who lives solely on cokes. startches and meat

Living in Californa bay area land of doubles to a dollar
    {but also the land of HIGH rent!}

Smile It really depends on if DH gets the new job!! :)

It really depends on if DH gets the new job or not!!
If DH gets the new job then we will mostly likely spend $54.95 on Meat at the meat store!!
We spend about $15.00 on Produce like Vegetables, and Fruit!!
The Rest will most likely spend between $25.00 to $75.00 that includes Milk,Eggs, Staples(like our Pantry Items) Non-Food Items as well!!
If DH doesn't get the new job then we will mostly likely have to depend on other's help again!!
So I don't know for sure what our Total Grocery Bill will be for July Yet!! I will keep you all updated though!!

I hope you don't mind me popping in here- I don't even know what GC Members means! LOL I'm assuming Grocery Club????

Well, I was working on my finances/budget for June and I calculated what I spent on groceries this month!

    I spent $398.12!!!!!

Okay, I need to cut WAY back next month. I think I got overly excited about stocking up and filling the new freezer. Technically I should only need a few things throughout July to get by--like milk, produce, etc.

My goal for July will be to stay UNDER $150

    Wish me luck!

I would love to join your July challenge too!!! We are a family of 4 and 1 stray kitty that I feed daily. My pantry is pretty full and the freezer is stocked out too. We go on vacation the last week of July and 1st week of August. I want to clean out and use everything we have and avoid the grocery store if at all possible. It means I will have to start over for August but I will have extra money to spend if I don't spend it on groceries this month!! (Did any of that make sense )
So I am going to set my budget at $150 and that should get us by for fresh fruits and veggies and milk and cat food!!!
I normally spend $300 a month so I hope I can make this work!!!

You know what? The more I think about it, the more I have decided to lower our July goal. The triple coupon week really stocked our shelves, so I am lowering it to $150. I am really going to try hard to stay under $150. I can't imagine I will go above. I know today was June, still, but all we needed this morning was 2 gallons of milk and bread, so I think this is doable. I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed!

Hi! I am new here... but I hope I can join in on your challenge? Our bill usually runs $300. That includes all non food items. So my challenge for July is $250. Normally I don't use coupons. I shop sales and stock up on loss leader items. Also, most of my purchases are store brand items. So it will be a good time to see how much money coupons take off the bill.

    Goal: $250
    Total: $0
