    Default Dh hates tuna!

I got the tuna deal and brought home 10 cans of tuna. I was so excited(I got them for .02 cents a can) and the only thing my DH said to me was were are we going to put them. We don't have the space. I told him I will put them in my sock drawer if I have too for that low of a price why not buy them.

Mine is picky about tuna. He'll only eat solid Albacore ($$$). I used a few of the coupons to get some of that for him for half the price I usually pay.

Oh well. The kids (well, 3 out of 4) and I love tuna fish

He hates tuna even if you disguise it in a casserole with a sauce?? Wow.

My ex would only eat 'white tuna'. Um once you put the mayo on it you dont see the colour anymore - I never noticed the diff except for price.

I used to sneak the non white tuna into casseroles, salads etc. I had bought a few cans of 'white' tuna and stocked them in my pantry so he could see I had them there for him 'just in case'. Prob about 5 or 6 cans.

I'd open two or three cans and used it in a casserole and then put a bit on the side for plain tuna salad the way he likes it. I rinsed the cans and left it on the counter for him to put into recycling for me. He saw it, and assumed that thats what I had used for the casseroles and other dishes involving tuna. What he didnt know was that I pulled those cans back out of the recycling to use again each time I made a casserole or tuna salad with reg tuna that was on sale. To this day he doesnt know LOL.

    BTW: Great price!! Good job!

Mine doesn't do tuna either. Calls it kitty food, but I love it and will make up tuna salad for myself and when he's out of town I'll make up tuna casserole for myself too.

We had tuna problems here too, and I'm afraid I'm the one who wasn't fond of it.

However, on another board I frequented a few years ago, someone posted some good tuna recipes. One we've really liked is Tuna Stew...which is really a tuna chowder.

Another recipe we like was a simple biscuit recipe with tuna and Monterey Jack cheese inside the biscuit. We served it with tomato soup.

Now I have a create-your-own-casserole recipe I often use tuna and tomatoes in. Everyone loves it!

We never liked tuna unless my Mom made a cheese sauce and made tuna salad on toast and poured the cheddar sauce over it. We all liked that and still do. I think they call it a tuna melt.

I don't care for tuna either. I can't even make casseroles with it. No one in the house will eat it.

Sometimes I get it when it's a great deal and keep it on hand for food drives.
