Recipes needed for..........
I looked through the food categories and didn't really see a forum for asking for recipes. I may have just overlooked it so I hope it's ok to ask here.
I'm looking for a recipe for sweet potato fries. One that is baked in the oven.
Also a recipe for shake and bake mix that tastes alot like the original Shake and Bake for chicken!

Homemade shake n bake
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup cracker crumbs or cornmeal
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon basil
Combine dry ingredients and shake together in a jar. When ready to use, brush chicken with oil and place in bag with enough mix to coat. Shake until well coated.
Bake according to standard recipe, or at 375 F. for 35-45 minutes or until done.
Store mix in a closed jar in the refrigerator.
Or you could make up your own mix with crushed crackers or cornflakes also, I usually use whatever is around the kitchen at the time.
