I have found a number of people in the past year or so that I was looking for. Some I found on facebook, myspace and classmates. One that did not have a computer, I found on craigslist. Not the first time I posted either......but eventually her sister saw it and contacted me. Under community there is a lost & found category. Post it there and keep putting it back on. Choose whatever city in VA she was closest to. Some of the online newspapers have forums where you can post an ad looking for someone. Another thing is a blog, which is free and just describe what happened and who you are searching for. You never know it could get the attention of someone she knows or works for.

Seems to me the 2 hardest parts here are 1. probably had a last name change at least once. 2. could have moved really far away.
I just went to www.whitepages.com and put in Robbin Galle with no city or state. Only 7 came up so while this dosen't sound right, only 7, maybe the last name isn't common? One was in Norfolk VA. However, while I put in Robbin, only the first initial R shows for the 7. Could be Richard or Randall you know. One was in Naples Fl and probably a relative of yours.

I tried to find someone over the internet and finally found them using I think it was peoplefinders.com. Whatever it was pulled up names according to utility bills. There was a one time fee of 9.95 or a 24 hour usage fee of a higher fee ( not to awful bad if you could sit there and really make use of it. )
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

    Laurie,

I knew a Robbin Armstrong, but she was older, I think. She lived in Swanzey, NH and died there a few years ago (three?). She had 3 grown children, two sons and a daughter, Judy, who's name I remember for obvious reasons.

The only reason I mention it is that although I've known many women named Robin over the years, she's the only one I knew who spelled her name Robbin. I'll check with someone I know who knew her much better re the age of the woman I knew, but my bet is that she was in her 60s-70s when she died and so couldn't be the person you're looking for.

    But I will ask.

I fervently hope you find her. Family is important and you never realize it as much as when you lose some of it.

I don't have any suggestions other than the great ones listed here, just wanted to send my good wishes.

Some states let you register for persons your looking for and when both partys register with the state they let them know. I know that Indiana does. We gave them the information of the date my niece was born, where, birth mothers maden name, and my niece to was looking too so it was a match. She was born in Indiana so I don't know if anyother states does this or not.
