Question What teacher do you remember having the most influence on you?

It had to be my grade 2 teacher - she taught me the love of reading and I often remember her and wish I could thank her for giving me that gift.

Do you have a special teacher who influenced you?

My Spanish teacher, Miss Brewold. She is the reason I am where I am today. If it hadn't been for her, I never would have met DH! I never would have had my wonderful boys, and my wonderful life! I called her last year and thanked her for making my life so great!

I had a sixth grade teacher, Mr Michaels, that made all the difference for me. My mom had remarried that year and our blended family had some big problems. The only thing that saved me was the positive things happening at school. Mr Michaels died recently. I saw it in the paper. I wished I had told him how he helped me.

I have two, 2nd grade I could do nothing right fro the lady. My freind next to me has a 100% paper and gets a stamp or sticker,I have a 100 paper and get nothing, over and over.
I told her I was sick and needed to go to the nurse she wouldn't let me, I threw up in class and she said "why didn't you tell me you were sick"

6th grade (I am already jaded now) we have times tests and when you can do it so fast your littel paper marker gets moved from grammar school to middle school to high school and college.
I never was or am good at math and never got moved out of grammar school. It was me and the kid with CP, and she could probably do it she just couldn't write fast enough (that wasn't fair for her either)

I had some good teachers too but teh bad made a bigger mark than the good.

Gosh, when I think about it there were many.

Same as you CJ, only it was my 3rd grade teacher that I got my love of reading from. Everyday before class started she would read a couple of chapters from The Little House series. They are still my favorite books and I have a complete set of them.
