    Default Connecticut unemployment questions..

I'm trying to find out if you can apply for online job's that would be acceptable for the work search? There has to be a total of 3 job searches a week to continue getting unemployment..anyone with info or can direct me to this information would be greatly appreciated.

Don't live in CT but I would think that your gov. website on this would explain what a "true job search is"..........

Worked in the field of it in WA and CA and whatever is "normal for your field" covered the job search.

If it is "normal" for online job searches in your field of work.........then I would guess it should work............but check first WITH YOUR GOV. site........and keep records, in case you are audited.

Agree with ff but with so many places now requiring ONLY online apps I'm betting yes. Most of mine when I was on unemployment were online. Even the people at the unemployment office were doing theirs there online.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I live in CT but I don't know the answer to your question.

There have been a ton of job fairs happening in the past week or so. There was one in Waterbury last week sponsored by Gov. Blumenthal and the Valley chamber of commerce also had one last week.

I don't know what type of job you're looking for but the new rest areas on I95 in Orange are also hiring for all positions from Manager to bathroom attendant.

    good luck
