Question Are all our members safe from the huge snowstorm?

I know there was a large snowstorm through New York and some of the eastern States right up into eastern Canada from the Toronto area on to the east coast.

    Is everyone okay?

Hi I am here trying to dig out, but all my loved ones are safe!! We got 33" on Christmas day!!! I still can't get out my front door (we use the back one most of the time) The snow is so pretty, but a foot would have been more than enough!!! LOL

I'm here, we got 15 inches in my part of eastern Pa. Spent 4 hours digging out and now they are talking about another storm on New Years Day

    Hi Everyone,

It was quite remiss of me not to come on yesterday and post I was okay. I had a couple of PM's waiting for me wondering where I was. I'm truly sorry.

We got between 16-18 inches. It's rather hard to tell because the wind kicked up late in the day and dh had to go out and plow all over again.

Driving to my parents and back was slow going and slippery but we made it safe and sound.

Thank you for you concern, and I'm glad everyone else weathered the storm well too.

Hi everyone- another NYer here! We came thru with about 18 inches. It made for a very quiet xmas- no one wanted to venture to my house for dinner. Consequently I have tons of food left over- dinner is at my house and everyone in the village is invited!
Seriously, it was so pretty- and couldn't have come at a better time as far as I'm concerned- no work or school to contend with. My neighbors have relatives visiting from Fla with small children- imagine their delight in seeing all that snow!! We could hear their squeals of delight at my house as they were out playing in it. I'm glad everyone else came thru alright also!
