Social Security...Does anyone know
Does anyone know if you can see online what your social security benefits are up to the current point? I've looked on their website and either I'm missing it or it isn't there. Probably missing it.
I miss the old green papers they used to send. I kept all of them but haven't gotten any for years.
Thanks in advanceBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

I'd be curious to know as well. I didn't even notice that I haven't gotten one for years. I thought because I moved.

They quit sending them as a cost savings measure.

Thanks Russ.
So much for this part of it...
However, starting early in fiscal year 2012, which begins in October 2011, the government will resume mailing the annual statements to workers age 60 and older who are not yet receiving benefits.
Hubbs is 65 1/2 and hasn't received one however the next statement says...
Because the annual statements are typically sent out about three months before a worker's birthday, those born in July and later won't be receiving one this year.
So don't know. He's definitely over 60 so would have thought he'd be in this group.
Also want to see where I stand myselfBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

Doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it then as to getting one

Did you try this site? You have to set up an acct...................
The United States Social Security Administration
As Russ said, they quit mailing them couple years ago............and........as of March of this year(think it is) you have to have direct deposit set up or you get a 'credit card' thing to use for your benefit amt.

I found the link to semi calculate. Works pretty good if you have an idea of what you'll make in the future...you all should check it out and play with it
