Happy Solstice everyone!
May your new year be filled with peace, joy and love.
Stop trying to organize all of your family’s crap. If organization worked for you, you’d have rocked it by now. It’s time to ditch stuff and de-crapify your world.
If you're not using the stuff in your home, get rid of it. You're not going to start using it more by shoving it into a closet.
Use it up, Wear it out,
Make it do, Or do without. ~unknown
Because we, the people, have the power to build a better future. KH

I'm still waiting on winter. I'm sitting over the AC vent right now.
Happy New Year allBank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

We're the opposite here, Niko. The forecast high tomorrow isn't supposed to get above zero, and the wind chill is supposed to be around minus forty.

Moving 600 km south, we were expecting to get more light during the winter months. But since the snow comes later, and stays shorter, it really seems darker. The christmas lighting helps a bit, but reaching solstice is always a great relief!

I was SO happy to see the solstice. The days here are short. Sun-up was 7am, sundown, 4pm. I know it's shorter even further north. We also have overcast skies for weeks on end. the Tomorrow should be partly sunny and I will be OUTSIDE most of the day.

We're only slightly further north than you, Maggie, so I feel your pain. We get a lot of overcast days here in the winter, too. Husby just came home from work and reported the truckmometer indicated an air temp of minus 26. I'm happy I'm not going anywhere tonight.
