    Default March 18, 2004: I crossed the Finish Line!

    Okay, I did it. I am done. I now have an AA in psychology and a BA in Liberal Studies. I have been crying all day. I am completely overwhelmed~

    I have waited so long for this day. A couple of months ago, I doubted whether or not I could pick up the pieces of my life and keep going, but I made it, not alone tho. Lori, for everytime you were there to help me sort out the pieces of my broken life and keep going, I love you,

    To my other village sisters, no one except for those who are a part of this place we all call home will understand it, but thats what makes this place great. For every tear I shed that you all wiped, for every strong shoulder I leaned on, for every piece of encouragement, prayer, pm, card and just over all love, this degree on this day belongs to all of us. I love you all so much! I guess I am sentimental, but these words come from the deepest part of my being. Thank you.

    Sara, thanks for keeping this place for us, it has certainly been the shelter from the storm.

    That is such wonderful news! We are all so very very proud of you! You have overcome such obstacles to get this degree and you have done it with style and grace.
