Default Do you pick up pennies?

I do, I can't believe some people don't bother. I sure don't have money to throw around and those pennies do add up.

I also pick up soda cans when I see them, heck those are a whole nickle just laying there.

    What about you?

Yes I pick up any change I find on the ground, including pennies.

I wish we got 5¢ a can for pop cans. I'd pick those up too if they did..

I do, unless I have my arms full of packages/DD/purse/keys/etc. Then, sometimes I'll pass up a penny- it's not worth dropping all of that.

I do too, it's amazing how much change I find in the supermarket carpark.

In my last job there was a bin outside the shop and the amount of people that would walk out of the various places and throuw away their receipt and the change along with it was crazy.

This annoyed me when people had been into my shop and did this as it was a charity shop and we had a collection box right there on the counter for spare change!

I pick up any change I see. I figure it's some money Uncle Sam didn't tax me on. Also, I pick up pop cans. Around here they are .10 cents. When I go bike riding in the summer I take a small plastic grocery bag with me and if I see a pop bottle, I put it in the bag.

nope, but i point it out to the kids if they didn't see it first and let them pick it up.

my grandfather ALWAYS picks up any change laying on the ground. i used to be his little shadow when we would go visit and i picked up this habit from him. my folks started calling me little pop pop because i could spot coins laying on the ground before anyone else saw them.
now i'm getting the kids to notice change and they are starting to see the coins before me.
