    Default Howdy everyone...I am new

    Just joined and glad to see there is an actiive frugal board! Glad to be here.
    I am 27 and getting married in 2 months.
    WE definitely are in need of a frugal lifestyle.
    I want to live as frugally as we can.
    With gorceries that may be difficult though b/c he is PICKY!!! But I figure we will get hte things thatare a must and be frugal witht he rest.

    ~Welcome to FV! Yeah, before we were married my hubby wanted steak every week, meat at every meal and all brand names. Hahahahahahaha! He got used to frugal real quick! I always told him that he was welcome to take over the planning, shopping and cooking anytime he wanted. Guess who's still cookin'? Glad you've joined us here at the village!~

    Well so far he is determined that brand names are a must on MANY htings. And only certain cuts of meat. But he is willing to compromise a couple of days a week. So we will see how it goes! Thanks for the welcomes!

    Oh and btw, where should I start here..A little overwhelming.
    I am most interested in cooking and homemaking topics...Thaks!

    Go to the forums section and browse the forums that interest you the most. Or you can do a search ("search" button on the tool bar) and search for topics that interest you.

    He will come around, but give him time. It has taken my dh 22 years to get to the point he is at...and sometimes I still just shake my head. But he grew up not at all frugal, so I can't complain.

    Hello, my DD wants certain things name brand and I told him we buy that we can't afford this and then let him decide witch is more important to him.
