Default How to get family /DH on board with being frugal?

I was just wondering how some of you got your family on board with living the frugal life?? I already know the benefits of it, but it is hard on me trying to get my family to do it!!

What tricks or things did any of you do???

We talk about current events a lot, and the economy is a big subject right now. I told the kids that it's nice that we started cutting back on things so that we are in good shape now. They get the fact that you can cut back on lots of little things that add up. Once I showed them our electric bills, before and after for example, they get that what we are doing is making a difference and how wasteful we all were before. I explained every change to them so that they would know why we were doing it. It took a couple of weeks, but now things are just second nature to them. DH can see the savings and he kind of likes seeing the rebel in me when I question the way everybody does things.
