Potato Soup Mix
Potato Soup Mix
1 3/4 cups instant mashed potatoes
1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
2 T. instant chicken bouillon
2 tsp. dried minced onion
1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. dried whole thyme
1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
1/8 tsp. turmeric
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix until completely blended. Store in an airtight container. Give as a gift with serving instructions.
To serve: Place 1/4 cup soup mix in a soup bowl or mug. Add 1 cup boiling water and stir until smooth. Let soup sit for 1 to 2 minutes to thicken slightly.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups of mix.

This reminds me of my grandma... I have always loved her Potatoe Soup.

This sounds yummy, I think I will make some to take to work for easy lunches, I can keep it in my locker at work. Thanks for the great recipe.
