Default Safe in a jar.... Good gift for kids to make...

My dd made one of these for Father's day and dh loved it....
Start with any kind of jar, put a empty toilet paper tube or paper towel tube depending on the size of the jar..... Cut it to fit to the top of the jar..... Fill around the tube with anything, nuts and bolts, nails, beans, put a little inside the tube so the contents can not be seen from the bottom of the jar....... Pipe hot glue over the top of the contents to make a seal, so that when the jar is opened the contents do not spill out..... Just pipe on the hot glue and spread with a Popsicle stick, Now treasures, or $$ or an extra key can be stored in there.....

I found a web site with some directions...........
