Cookie and brownie mixes in a jar
Oatmeal Raisin Spice Cookie Mix
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup raisins
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup flour mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, 1 tsp.
baking soda
and 1/2 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar

Makes 3 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, very
soft
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with
your hands.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2" apart on sprayer
baking sheets.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 11 to 13 minutes, until edges are
lightly browned.
Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet
Blarney Stones Cookie Mix
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup golden raisins
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
1 3/4 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. allspice
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Blarney Stones Cookies
Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, very
soft 2 eggs, slightly beaten 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with
your hands.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2 inches apart on
sprayed baking sheets.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly browned.
Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
Vanilla & Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup vanilla chips
1 cup chocolate chips
2 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Vanilla & Chocolate Chip Cookies
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, not diet, very soft
2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with
your hands.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. The dough is very sticky.
Place 2 inches apart on sprayed baking sheets.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool 5 minutes on
baking sheet.
Cowboy Cookie Mix
1 1/3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips
1 1/3 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Cowboy Cookies
Makes 3 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie Mix
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
3 (1.4-oz.) Nestle White Crunch candy bars, coarsely chopped (press this layer very hard)
2 cups flour mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/2 tsp. baking
powder
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
White Chocolate Macadamia Cookies
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your bands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, not diet, very soft
1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with
your hands.
It will take a while to mix into a smooth dough.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2 inches apart on
sprayed baking sheets.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 to 14 minutes until tops are very
lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
Honolulus Cookie Mix
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup firmly packed flaked coconut
2/3 cup chopped macadamia nuts
2/3 cup chopped dates (buy a box of chopped dates)
2 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 tsp. baking powder
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Honolulus Cookies
Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies

sprayed baking sheets. Press cookie down slightly with the heel of your hand.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 11 to 13 minutes, until tops are very
lightly browned. Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet
Trail Cookie Mix
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup wheat germ
1/3 cup quick oats
1 cup raisins
1/3 cup firmly packed flaked coconut
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 1 stick butter or margarine, not diet, very soft

3. Mix until completely blended You will need to finish mixing with

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Mix
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 cups firmly packed powdered sugar (wipe jar after this layer)
3/4 cup cocoa powder (wipe jar again!)
1 1/2 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies
Makes 3 dozen cookies
1. Empty jar of cookie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, not diet, very soft
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended. You will need to finish mixing with
your hands.
4. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Place 2 inches apart on
sprayed baking sheets. Press balls down with a fork.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet.
Butterscotch Brownie Mix
1/2 cup firmly packed flaked coconut
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups flour mixed with 1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
Butterscotch Brownies
Makes 2 dozen brownies
1. Empty jar of brownie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, very
soft 2 eggs, slightly beaten 2 tsp. vanilla (opt.)
3. Mix until completely blended.
4. Spread batter into a sprayed 9x13 metal pan.
5. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in baking pan. Cut brownies into 1 1/2 inch squares.
Brownie Mix in a Jar
2 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup cocoa powder (wipe jar after this layer)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1 1/4 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.

Makes 2 dozen brownies
1. Empty jar of brownie mix into large mixing bowl. Use your hands to thoroughly blend mix.
2. Add: 3/4 cups (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, not diet, melted 4 eggs, slightly beaten
3. Mix until completely blended.
4. Spread batter in a sprayed 9x13-inch pan.
5. Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 2-inch squares.
Almond Joy Brownie Mix
2 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder (wipe jar after this layer)
1 1/4 cup flaked coconut, sprinkled with 1 tsp. almond extract and
tossed to blend
3/4 cup coarsely chopped whole almonds
1 1/4 cups flour mixed with 1 tsp. baking powder and 1 tsp. salt
Layer ingredients in order given in a 1-quart wide-mouth canning jar.
Press each layer firmly in place before adding next ingredient.
Attach this to the Jar
