Who have you given "gifts in a jar" to and
Were they well received?
I've not done this but would like to do some this Christmas, but I'm wondering how they'll be received.
Tell us what you've done.

Gave brownie mix in a tupperware thing to teachers and they loved them. Gave journal in a jar with a very nice pen and got a flat oh, nice.
Gave a fishing basket to my brother with fish coat in it and he liked it but there were a of other stuff in it.
So a mixed reaction.

Last year I made baskets with cinnamon pancake mix, hot cocoa mix. and chocolate chip cookie mix. I also put an oak spoon, oven mits, 4 christmas mugs, and a small yankee candle in each basket. I then wrapped them in christmas fabric and raffia. Friends and family loved them
I am busy making a few more baskets for our family we adopted and decided to make them for my brother and his family and our neighbors we are having over. I really put my heart and soul into making these for everyone.
