Shake & Bake Mix

1 cup Corn Flake crumbs
1 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dries basil, crushed
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Mix all ingredients until well combined. Store in decorated jar.

ATTACH TO JAR:

Shake and Bake Chicken
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Use one whole chicken, in parts, or equivelent. Place seasoning mix in large plastic bag. Moisten chicken parts with water and drop them into the bag 2 or 3 at a time. Twist bag closed at the top and shake until pieces are coated.

Place pieces on a foiled lined cookie pan andbake for about 45 minutes or until cooked through.

Okay, got some cornflakes, nearly free, what a good way to use up those chicken hind quarters. The only item I do not have is dried basil.
