Each year, our ladies craft group at church make batches of this to serve to our shoppers at our ornament sale. We also put the mix into pint jars to sell, and they go quickly. We have had many recipe requests for this mix.

Each batch will make 82-83 cups of hot cocoa. If making gifts in a jar, each batch will fill 8 pint jars.

Note: I use only Walmart brands. It's much cheaper!

10 -1/2 cups (80.4 oz.) Non-Fat Dry Milk
4 cups (32 oz.) Confectioners Sugar
4 -1/2 cups (34 oz.) Powdered Chocolate Drink Mix
2 - 3/4 cups (22 oz.) Non-Dairy Powdered Coffee Creamer, Plain
1/2 teaspoon Salt

Combine all of the above in a large bowl and mix well. Store in covered airtight container until ready to use.

Combine 3 heaping tablespoons of cocoa mix into a mug of hot water or milk.

You can also use a quart size mason jar and put the same amount of cocoa mix inside a clear plastic baggie that you would for a pint jar. Tie the top of the bag with a pretty ribbon and place in the bottom of the quart jar. Next, place minature marshmellows into another clear baggie and tie with another pretty ribbon. Place the marshmellows on top of the cocoa mix. Last year, I did three layers too. Cocoa mix, marshmellows and red hot cinnamon candies or chocolate chips. Make a pretty fabric round for the top and tie with ribbon or raffia. You can tie a chocolate spoon or a cinnamon stick onto the jar as well.

Add a jar to a basket along with some cute mugs, chocolate spoons, a baggie of marshmellows, cinnamon candies and some homemade cookies and it's the perfect gift for the chocolate lover!
