Does anyone have a bucket list?
Has anyone come up with their bucket list.....the things you want to do before you die? I think it would be interesting to see what everyone has on their list.
In no particular order....here is mine
1) Go on a zip line
2) Visit New York and the Statue of Liberty
3) Have a child
4) Pay off my mortgage and all other debt for that matter
5) Meet a movie star in person....not real particular on which one
6) Be on The Amazing Race
7) Go on a really long cruise
8) Visit my grandparent's graves
9) Learn how to make jewelry
10) Visit Canada and go to a hockey game there
And I'm sure I can come up with a ton more!

LadyNada....SWIM WITH SHARKS?????
I worry about that everytime I'm in Hawaii! Constantly looking at the water around me!!!LOL
Yep... I have a bucket list
1. Zipline (Done this one a couple of times now)
2. See Brooks and Dunn in concert (tickets for May 1)
3. See a bayou in Louisiana
4. Go for an airboat ride in the everglades
5. See every National Park in the US
6. Whitewater rafting trip (did this one in Oregon)
7. See DisneyWorld
8. Go to Nashville and see the Grand ole Opry (did this last year)
These are the ones that I had on my absolute must do list
By this list it may seem that I am not all that frugal. I live a frugal lifestyle so that I can achieve the ability to experience my list!! We don't eat out, we don't go to movies, we watch our grocery bill and we try not to spend much money so that we are able to do the things both my dh and I have on our bucket lists.

We went to Orlando a couple of years ago and never went to Disney World. We stayed right down the street from SeaWorld and never went there either. So much for DH's wish list. We ended up visiting with friends, two of which have since passed away. Theme parks are still there.DH wants to go to Niagara Falls this summer. We don't have any friends who live nearby.lol

Seeing all 50 states of America has been on my life list since I was a child. We went camping with a big group every month and this one retired couple had a United States map on their motorhome door with the stickers that you place where you've been? I saw that thing and my heart knew that would be me someday.
I'm not bent on a motorhome, I just want to see all our states. I purchase a magnet or a coffee mug from all the ones I've visited so far.

I don't have a bucket list, but one definite would be going to England for many weeks and touring a lot of places, including the James Herriot museum in Thirsk, Yorkshire.
Ladykemma2, some of yours sound wonderful! I've seen photos of the house for rent that you speak of from S & S. Remains of the Day is one of my very favorite movies and I'd love to see the house.
I was looking around on You Tube and came across this video called English Country House. It wasn't until I got to 2:18 that I recognized the room! (BTW, the music piece is Schubert's Trio in E Flat Major if you're interested). I hope you enjoy it.

Hahahaha! Yup! Swim with sharks. They are my favorite animals, have been for years.
A couple more to add:
See Stevie Nicks in concert
Complete a quilt
Write my novel(s)
Here's a question: if you have a bucket list that you keep adding to, do you eventually just never die?

that wa a good video. i recognize the room. it was the scene where the young lady is sick and they tell panicked mom to remove the child from the house. Am i right?
i have a funny story about (the grand white house in the begiining of S&S). i had walked about 5 miles to see that house from the station. i was wearing thick black tights. i was standing in the hall of that house and my tights fell down whoop! i managed to waddle to the nearest restroom and deal with it but i can't watch S&S without laughing inwardly.
edit: the musuem is worth seeing. before you see the herriot museum, make sure you read the true story of his life by his son. apparently he suffered from mental health issues. and sigfried was VERY UPSET how he was portrayed in the book, even though his wife told him to knock it off. a share in the profits did not shut him up. so you notice about the third book in the series, sigfried moves to another house and there are few sigfried stories.
also herriot was disappointed at how much of the profits from the book went to taxes. the governemtn got it all. he died, well, not wealthy.

Ladykemma2, right! I can hear her screaming as she runs from the room.
I've read that book, but I didn't remember anything about mental health issues. I'm always amazed at how many people can afford to stay in England with the taxes the way they are, but I think we may be in the same boat eventually the way things are going.

I think you eventually die but you don't mind 'cause you spent your life doing the things you wanted to do before it happened.
