I almost hesitate to ask... ;)
Anyone set some resolutions or goals for the year?
Mine are:
To find a job I can do that will allow for continued homeschooling, and that child care won't be a problem. Hopefully with a Christian based company
To use proceeds from said job to do guerrilla style pay down war on debt
To stock up freezers and pantry better using sales and such.
And...uh, i think that's it!
I hate to call em resolutions because often i don't stick to resolutions!

I want to get my chaos in order; mentally, physically, emotionally, financially. Only definitive numbers are 10k in debt gone and 25 lbs. gone. Otherwise, I need to get my house and work routines in place to control the chaos.

I didn't, but I'm realizing I need to be more time-efficient. I feel that increasingly in the last months time is slipping away from me. I feel that maybe my pursuit of frugality has started to steal my time. My goal is to find a better balance. I know that's vague, but I know it's what I need to do if I want to make it through this semester.
I think the first steps are:
-identifying where I waste time
-quitting commitments that aren't currently helping me or others
-finding where it's worth it to pay for a bit of convenience

Craft-wise: to send handmade cards to everyone for birthdays, babies, etc. this year. (Basically forcing myself to keep crafting on a regular basis, which helps to declutter my craft stash and also makes me feel good.
)
Also to finish several scrapbooks that have been in progress forever now.
I have some personal resolutions, too~ the usual: better health, more Bible study, etc. Nothing there with set goals/deadlines, just things I'm planning to be better in a year from now.

I haven't set any as of yet. I don't normally because I dont' usually keep them. I would like to get more organized this year. Maybe that will happen.

Yes. I have to get us back on an even financial footing. We need mega-bucks to fix up the house just to sell it. Also thinking of a new car down the road.

I'm hesitant about "resolutions" too. Maybe "hopes" is better:
To get spiritual practice -meditation and mantra - back on track. I've been way too busy and preoccupied the last few months.
To seriously tackle the diabetes control (fortunately, it isn't very bad yet) and weight loss.
To be extra frugal this coming year. I've just been through a very expensive move, and I've spent a lot recently. I need to get back out of the habit of buying. I need to see savings GROW. I'm turning 60 in a few months, and retirement and potential health issues loom large.
A big order for 2008. So here's hoping.....

1. Stay on track with my training program. I plan to race a full triathlon season in 2008.
2. Pay off consumer debt
3. Declutter house
4. If my damn BF will get around to popping the question - figure out my wedding plans. LOL!!!
