March 2008 Goals
Howdy everyone
How are we doing with the frugalness so far this year? Is it hard not to spend to avoid boredom? Have you finally paid off your 2007 Christmas? Have you achieved whatever your February goals were? Time for a clean slate and fresh start....what are your March 2008 Goals?
This month for me:
* Going to try to keep with the $100/month for groceries, using what I have in the freezer/stockpile
* Try to put $500 away in savings or EF
* Going to try to finish my book and start a new one
* DECLUTTER s'more!
Man I feel silly - most of my goals are the same and I feel like I'mbut until I have been rid of my clutter and all done saving up....I'm going to keep at it in baby steps. Every bit counts!
So do tell.....what are your March 2008 Goals?

I'm trying to tackle my goals. We have about $300 in our EF, it's a start. I need to put more on our personal loans, we have 2. I don't want to consolidate or anything. I feel it is better to plug along and pay them off. I want to add $20.00 to the principle of each so that's another goal. We've cut back on our spending in all areas. I'm looking at how we can do more. I'm scared with gas, food, energy, and everything else going up! I think this weekend I'll put some more goals in writing.

New, but setting goals
I am really new here!!! But, I am trying to get in the spirit of things and set some goals for myself...
Grocery Challenge: I am going to knock $191.20 off the monthly cost, hopefully, and spend $300 or less. Any money saved will go into medical fund.
Put $100 into EF
Payoff IRS
Sort through boxes of stuff in basement, price & repack for early Spring yard sale.

Cleaning this week, 1 room per day and then reading, trying to get some personal space to myself.

~ add at least $1000 to savings
~ plan a fiscal fast; continue to record all of my spending; use cash as much as possible
~ no stops for fast food
~ set and stay at or under grocery budget of $450 for March
~ eat out only 2-3 times, if that
~ declutter
~ keep up with laundry
