Favorite Vegan Cookbooks - let's share
I've been told that "The Joy of Vegan Baking" is a must. I love "Cupcakes take over the World" and "Cookies invade your Cookie Jar." So the veggie pushers made me buy this one.
. It has great reviews and I received my copy from Amazon yesterday. Many tried and true recipes. I love that you use flax seed in place of eggs.
The other one I bought was the "SuperMarket Vegan" by Donna Klein. This is her newest I believe and I love her cookbooks! I also have by her, "Vegan Italiano" and "Mediterranean Kitchen." Her recipes are very simple but so yummy. She is by far my favorite.
Many more I have but what veggie cookbooks do you enjoy that you would recommend?

I've had The Joy of Vegan Baking for a while, and honestly I don't use it much. Don't know why, I just rarely pick it up!
Here are some of my favorites:
Veganomicon - Isa Chandra Moskowitz and Terry Hope Romero
Vegan with a Vengeance - Isa Chandra Moskowitz
Vegan Brunch - Isa Chandra Moskowitz
Viva Vegan - Terry Hope Romero
Vegan Soul Kitchen - Bryant Terry
Yellow Rose Recipes - Joanna Vaught
The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook - Joanne Stepaniak

ok - so I don't have a single suggestion, but I wanted to say "thanks" for this thread. I have learned so much from all of you, and I am sure that this will be no exception!

I don't have a single favourite title, but my favourite vegan cookbook authors are Jo Stepaniak and Bryanna Grogan. All their recipes are delicious. Jo's are simpler to make and good for everyday cooking; Bryanna's tend to be more complicated, suitable for fancy meals. They both have websites:

Oh gosh, I moved recently and all my books are still packed. I have some of those mentioned.
Good starter books are
'The Compassionate Cook' from PETA and another one called I think 'Cooking With PETA' (though I'm not a member anymore)
'Vegan Vittles' from Farm Sanctuary (love Farm Sanctuary!)
I'll be looking for some suggestions of books I don't have. I want to check out that Supermarket Vegan book. Sounds interesting. I'm not much of a cook.

Besides the six I listed in my OP...I also have...
Veganomicon
The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook
Vegan Planet
500 Vegan Recipes
Vegan with a Vegeance
Skinny B***(yes that is what it's called)
I also have a few Vegetarian ones.
Others I just check out at the library and print or write the recipes I like and add them to my binder.

Bethany Frankel has lots of vegan recipes. Her two books-
Naturally Thin
The Skinnygirl Dish
They are not all vegan but she does have a good selection with substitutions that work with her recipes
