Recipe DescriptionOne of the healthiest breakfast you could have and it keeps you going, even forgetting about lunch!Preparation Steps:Mash the bananaLevel of Difficulty:
with the help of a coffee grinder, process all the dry ingredients (by smaller batches if you have a tiny grinder like I do)
*be careful not to over process the nuts as oil will be extracted and you'll end up with a pasteEasyTime Needed:10 minIngredients:8 tbsp plain yoghurtServes:
1 banana (well ripen is sweeter )
3 tbsp nuts
6 tbsp whole cereal
honey or maple syrup to taste1 for an active morning, 2 normalDirections:Mix everything together with the yoghurt and add honey to taste (I find it just fine with the banana itself but I also love plain yoghurt...so your call on this)
nuts, seeds: almonds, cashews, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, peanuts...anything you have on hand.
Cereal: oats, flaxseed, wheat berries, kasha or buckwheat, brown rice, millet, quinoa...it is endless really.
you can add wheat germs and extra bran if you want.
*the banana can be exchanged for any fresh fruit: diced apple with a dash of cinnamon, fresh berries when in season, pineapples...you be creative!
