    Default Need ideas...

I need craft ideas for those little plastic coffee stirrers. You know... the ones that are like a little straw. I have hundreds of them, they are white with colored stripes and I have all colors. What can I do with them all???

Maybe dip them in chocolate? like the spoons they make?

Maybe a few in mint chocolate, a few in Hazlenut chocolate, white chocolate....slip a bit of plastic wrap around them, tie with a bow.

Is there enough of the straw for the chocolate to stick to? I would think they'd be too thin? Has anyone ever tried this?

No never tried it. i would think that you should be able too, as long as you dip several times, and they are the longer ones. I have seen them done though, i just can't remember where it was. seems like one of the small stores that had coffee they had them dipped they were like 25 cents each. (I am so cheap i wouldn't buy it)

I've seen it done on the wooden coffee stirrers... not sure how it would work with the plastic ones.

I would think the plastic would work just as well. The thicker the chocolate mixture, the more it would stick and if you used paraffin wax, it would harden quicker and more would stick then as well.
