Do you have a room or area specifically for crafting or sewing? Or do you just do it where ever?

I have a work bench in the basement all set up for my crafting and I love it!

I have a bedroom upstairs (near my bedroom) that I converted into a crafting/sewing room. It's much warmer than being in my basement, where I was before. It's awesome to have a cozy getaway!

    Sadly no.

I do my crafts in the kitchen or livingroom.
The spare room became Alexandra's new room.

I have a sewing room with an L-shaped counter top around two sides 5'x10', and I have a large table on the other side of the room for crafting.

Now ask me if I use it??

Nope, I'm usually in the kitchen or dining room doing crafts unless it involves sewing! Go figure!

Sadly, I had to give my sewing room up to ds#2. He now has a plum bedroom with a quilting border. I'm sure its very peaceful for him.

I did make a little area in our m/bedroom where I now do my sewing/quilting. Not the same but it will work for now.

No, and boy do I wish I had one! I would love a basement to keep toys and things in, and to section off a space just for me! THat way I could leave work in progress undisturbed instead of having to move it to eat at the table.

    Happy Holidays

My dh built me a room last year in the basement.... I have an 8 ft counter top to work on with lots of shelves and outlets, a dresser for fabric and lots of cabinets and a big sink for washing brushes, dyeing ect.... I love it. It's a mess right now !!!!!!!!
