    Preparation Steps:
I have a picture tutorial on my blog: http://www.homesteadmel.com/4/post/2010/11/cranberry-sauce.html
    Level of Difficulty:
    Easy
    Time Needed:
    15 minutes
    Ingredients:
    1 cup of water

    1 cup of sugar

    12 oz. whole cranberries
    Serves:Directions:
Bring water and sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan

Add cranberries, bring to a boil again

Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10 minutes stirring frequently

    Let cool and serve

    To make Jellied Cranberry sauce:

Place a mesh strainer over a bowl

After cooking the cranberries, pour contents into the strainer

Use a large spoon or pestle to smash and scrape the mix through the strainer until there are only peel bits left

    Stir sauce in bowl

    Let cool and serve

Ditto on the orange juice and little zest also goes a long way!

I do this too but I also freeze it in small amounts and bake chicken breast in it later. Serve it with rice..
