Default the books by alexandra stoddard

I recently discovered the works of alexandra stoddard.

her books make me feel less lonely, and OK with being home alone. in our society something is wrong with you if you are not running and out spending money all the time. i love making a pot of tea, and staying home all day.

her books helped my to arrange furniture, settle on a more traditional style. to care for my home and recognize that it is a spiritual living thing to be loved. to enjoy decorating. to change things. to think outside the box.

    currently reading these books.

I love her books too. I think there is one called Grace Notes where she has all the ideas about just little things you can do to be elegant. Like using fancy tea cups, or using little square baskets to serve sandwiches. Even the idea about using see through storage containers in the refrigerator was a cool idea. I love attention to details.
