    #6: Now, we’ll tackle the first places that guests and your family see when they come to your home, the front porch and entrance areas.

    Only do what you can in 15 minutes:
    Sweep your front porch and steps, if you have any.
    Shake out the indoor and outdoor welcome mats.
    Wipe both sides of your front door(s) with the appropriate cleaner (Windex if it’s glass, dusting spray if it’s wood, etc.)
    If you still have time left over, take some all purpose cleaner or Windex and wipe the light switch plates. (It’s amazing how nasty those things get!)

    Got in on the bedroom challenge:
    * had all kinds of clothes folded all over the bed (from this morning) ~ got them all put up
    * made the bed and put the pillows on it
    * got all dirty laundry into the basket and then emptied into the laundry room
    * got all the folded clothes off the dresser top (hadn't been put away)

    Entry and porch done. My front porch is pretty big and it needed a good sweep. I found a wasps' nest under one of the wicker chairs that I need to take care of tonight.

    This was my last cleaning task with you lovelies. I have to be at work in less than an hour. Enjoy the rest of your day!

    This was the first job that I couldn't get done in 15 min but it at least looks better.

    ~I had plenty to do on the inside of the entry so I didn't do anything outside.~

    I missed the kitchen challenge as I was gone but got back in on the porch challenge.

    * Swept the porch
    * Shook out the mats
    * cleaned the full-view storm door
    * wiped all the trim down around the door
    * pledged the wooden front door

    Boy, you can get a bunch done in 15 minutes. I love getting in on these challenges.

    #7: Second bedroom or second bathroom, do whichever needs it the most – spend only 15 minutes

    For the bedroom:
    Make the bed (2 or 3 minutes, TOPS)
    Put all the dirty clothes in your laundry basket or in a hamper
    Put all the trash in your trash bag
    Put anything that doesn’t belong in the bedroom into the box you have from earlier
    If there are any clean clothes lying around, either fold them and put them away or hang them up in the closet
    If you still have time left after all this, straighten whatever is on your nightstand and dresser.

    OR

    For the bathroom:
    Put all the dirty clothes and towels into your laundry basket
    Put all the trash into a trash bag
    Put anything that doesn’t belong in the bathroom into the box
    Give the inside of the toilet bowl a quick scrub (30 seconds, MAX) with a toilet brush
    Wipe down the sink, counters and mirror
    If you still have time left over, go through your medicine cabinet and check the expiration dates on everything. Toss anything that is out of date.

    When the timer goes off, STOP! Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection

    ok, this one is as done as it can be......hubby redid the bathroom and it needed to be organized, and to stop having stuff just get moved around....so that;s what I did I decided what was going to go on what shelf and get rid of the junk. In fact, I still have junk in my lap that I will go throw out when I go into the kitchen!!
    The spare bedroom is a wreck!! But after the new carpet went down last week, the matress got put down on the bed without the supports...sooooo, hubby needs to take the matrress off and put the supports down and then put the mattress back on, so I;m not even going to touch this room till that is done...............
    back to ironing - which I have been doing off and on all day long!

    Did the 2nd bathroom:

    * dumped the trash can
    * swished the toilet
    * switched out the towels and threw dirty ones into laundry room
    * cleaned the mirror and the vanity~ wiped the faucets
    * sprayed and wiped the bathtub
    * wiped down all hangings, light switch, tp holder, etc.

    It is a small bathroom and it is shining.......

    Done #5 & #6...taking a break before doing #7. It's hotter than heck in here, and I don't have the a/c units in yet.

    #8 – LAST ONE, YAY!!!

    This one is for the whole house:
    Vacuum the entire house (don’t move any furniture, just vacuum what you can see. Do it fast!)
    If you have time left over, dust – Grab some dusting spray and a rag or paper towel and quickly dust as many flat surfaces throughout your home as you can before time runs out.
    Remember, spend only 15 minutes, and when the time runs out, STOP.

    This is your last challenge, but make sure you check back next hour for a message. Now get to work!
