I took a whole trunk full of stuff to the salvation army this morning.
I know there was a box of books
    3 bags of clothes
2 light brights with extra papers and pegs.

Will be going through the linen/bathroom closet this week and will be getting another box ready for the S.A.

Well I've been a little slow to start on my own challenge. This morning though I got rid of...

22 clothing articles (will count as 1)
several boxes (will count as 1)
a couple of destroyed decks of cards (will count as 1)

I've got all our plastic containers water bottles sitting on the counters waiting to be sorted as I type.

    so I'm at 3...

I'm going to try and get mine all done today.

I mostly finished up yesterday but will have to take the stuff to their drop off points today

(I like the numbering idea Mom23boys, gonna start useing it. Thank you)

    4. well over a dozen water bottles
    5. several plastic containers such as old margerine tubs
    6. clothes that were in the repair bucket that probably are not going to fit my boys by next winter anyway (takeing these to the quilting ladies at my job ...they do kids quilts for the children that live there)
    7. game with half the pieces
    8. newspapers
    9. mail junk buildup
    10. fabric (again to sewing ladies)
    11. toy
    12. toy
    13. ?#&*$????? mystery item (you know the what the ----is this??)
    14. broken CD
    15. scap stuff from desk drawer number one
    16. desk drawer number 2
    17. desk drawer number 3
    18. 1 can of paint
    19. roller cover
    20. half used wood putty
    21. various food items
    22. about 4 kids pillow cases
    24. cans
    25. blanket
    26. 2 craked ice cube trays
    27. toy
    28. toy
    29. toy
    30. magazines

I've already taken most of this stuff to a co-workers this morning to take into work. Most of the cloth items will go to the sewing ladies (even the pillow cases). The adult clothes I'll drop at Goodwill. The cans have already been taken to the recycling center. Several items were already handed off to a friend that needed them. Nothing was thrown away except the broken toys, the WTH?, and the "stuff" out of the drawers that consisted of things such as wadded up posties and broken rubberbands.

    How's everybody else doing?????

I think I did this yesterday alone. lol!

I cleaned out the porch (for the first time since I moved in). Some stuff is my dad's (I'm renting his house), but of the rest, I got a box of stuff for the second hand store, and a bag for the trash! Not sure how many items, but it had to be at least 2 dozen!!

I met the challenge ~ I got rid of 2 big boxes and a bag of scrapbooking stuff that I will never use ~ I donated it all on Friday.

I pared down my scrap stuff to one shelf and a rubbermaid container

I think this is a great challenge, but I'm honestly at capacity for giving. I've spent the last 2 years decluttering and I'm at the piont that what we own is what I want to keep. There are a few small things that still need new homes, but they pretty much have a planned place they are going.

Wow!!! Wonderful job to all!!! Doesn't it feel great to pass on more "stuff" and clear more space.

By weeks end, I had filled two large garbage cans with trash, had 2 bags of clothes and shoes put aside to donate, had freecycled 3 large trash bags of baby clothes, and given away a play table. I went into all the nooks and crannies and took care of it all, and enlisted the help of the kids.

Today, since it's raining and we can't go to the pool, we're looking at our board games and puzzles and seeing what can go.
