    Default Homemade Christmas Challenge

The countdown is really on now! So how is everyone doing?

We had an early Christmas with my brother, SIL and nieces. I made a steak rub for DB which he really seemed to like. My SIL really seemed to like her homemade card organizer as well.

This weekend I am working on another organizer for my mom as well as some flavored coffee mix. I am also working on some homemade cards for my sis. Don't know that I'll get to the knifty knitter yet this week to make anything but we'll see.

I hope you all are doing well on your homemade Christmas goals! It's definitely helping US save money this season.

I've made 2 magazine bowls, 2 paper mache bowls, and 2 boxes to hold everyones gifts to be used as a re-cycle box. I need to get 2 more coats of paint on the boxes and stamp the design in the 2 bowls. magazine bowls have been modpodged and are ready to go.

I finished the eight scarfs i was knitting for co-workers and i framed three pictures for family. The rest of my gifts were bought at the second hand shops or paid under ten dollars for them. My total for Christmas this year is just under $70.00!!! I am already planning on what to make next year. Good luck to you all and thank you so much for joining me.

I finished a gift for my grandma. A paperweight with pictures of the girls on all sides.

I also finished my moms gift. 2 dishclothes, pot scrubber, book on baking soda, and baking soda. I plan on putting her gift in a reuseable bag.

Thanks for the tip about steak rub for a gift. My sister just loves these, and it never even occurred to me to give them as gifts. I appreciate the idea!
