It's been awhile since anyone posted. Today I visited a friend confined to a wheelchair who also happens to have a broken arm. I dusted and vacuumed her apartment, did some dishes, took out the recycling and made her a cup of coffee. We even had time to visit a little and watch some TV together. It was a fun time. She gave me some asparagus and she's offered to take some coffee off my hands (I don't drink it).

It sure is tsoo! I find it's a habit or state-of-mind. Once you get into it, it's natural. I try to post stuff on-line if I think it'll motivate people and stretch them to think about kindness in other ways. Hope you're having fun with unlimited kindness! I am!

I haven't posted here in a while either but make sure I do something kind everyday. Today one of my DH's morning coffee buddies informed us his wife of 20 years is kicking him out of the house because she found a new man on the internet! So we offered our small unoccupied house at the front of the property for him to stay to get his bearings together. He is on disability and doesn't even make enough to pay for a cheap room anywhere so he is going to help out around here (tons to do) for exchange for rent. I would rather have his help than his money as DH can't do much some days and DS and I can only do so much ourselves.

i hope the reason why no one has posted in here in a while is because you have all been so busy doing good deeds

LOL! Yep. I received a bunch of spices for free through the Internet. Took what I wanted, gave some away, and put the rest at the church for everyone to take.

Also loaning more videos to the special needs girl I know.

Ordered some Christian DVDs for the church library...on my tab. They badly need something for non-readers.

Fed and entertained 12 people Friday and Saturday. Does that count? Because I feel I got the better end of the bargain.

Like this thread, never visited here before - great idea.

I have some things that I do on an ongoing basis - one of my friends has five children, one car, and a husband who entertains and has an irregular schedule. On weekends, vacations, or whenever I know that I won't be using my car, I give it to her to use. Makes sense to me. She gives of herself so generously to so many through her church and just being the person she is, I like being able to do something for her that she wouldn't think of asking, but sure appreciates.

We also open our home to our friends from the mainland who come down, separately, to work here for several months at a time. Wonderful people, love having them here and helping them out too.

Always feel better when I help others, guess I need to pay more attention to what I do and what more I can do!!

I helped a older gentleman today at Walmart get his full cart to his car since it was raining so hard. I love little old ladies and men.

i smiled at the cashier who was stressing out with one of the customers, but it was also a little for me... she was cute.

My kindness today was to keep out of people's faces! LOL No...I've fielded a phone call from a sick friend...I prayed for her and advised her to see a doctor pronto. She has a sudden high fever and a stiff neck.

I made some scones, for me as much as DH, but he'll be happy to see them when he comes home. I tried to make muffins but discovered I was out of eggs. No car, very windy. I'm staying home. Maybe we can pick them up tonight.

Yes, why? Will they replace eggs in a recipe too?! I use them as fat replacement!
