u deffently do have your work cut out for ya. Im getting excited thinkin about what it will look like to see the before and after pics.
Our old farm house was over 200 too. and our basement foundation was large rocks that all hauled from the shore acrosss the road with horses. super strong house. but the main beams had to be up dated beacuse some were getting rotten, so that was amajor overhaul.
and the living room--the old rug my dad put in dissenegrated the rubber foam underneath ughhh yuck.
the stair case we took off and made from scartch, kept it simple but stained it.
keep up all the great work, and keep us updated I want to hear what ur getting done.

Look in the mis-tint section of your hardware store. My whole house is painted in the colors that I wanted but someone else didn't. $20 for four rooms of paint!
