I'm working on mine now. I'm doing alright with clothes and such. But my problem is the piles of stuff that I've saved over the years and carried from place to place. Somehow, it ended up in my room instead of the basement. So I guess I have to deal with that now.

I know. Just do as much as you can this week. (Even a little progress is still progress!)

Donate. I know I won't ever feel like having a yard sale, and the feeling of having the stuff GONE is worth more to me than any potential $$$ I could make at a yard sale.

Boy do I know what your saying pinetree. I am decluttering the spare room to turn into a dressing room, but in the mean time I'm decluttering our bedroom. Both need each other to be decluttered to reorganize. Crazy, I hate that we accumulated so much stuff. I'd love to just hit the garbage button and start all over again, but that's not very frugal now is it????

~Great idea! I'm in although I'm starting late.
Pinetree, I am so with you on moving between rooms. I started this morning sorting my hair and body products shelf as well as the stockpile box I keep in the bedroom and before I knew it I'd made my way into the bathroom where I trash over 30 items of outdated medicines, bath products I hated and almost empty bottles. Maybe we'll end up ahead of everyone else in the end? LOL!
    Now back to the bedroom......~

I want to join this although I'm late. My bedroom is a wreck at the moment. I have lots of ebay stuff laying around and youngest ds uses it as his extra junk room. Dh's desk is horrible! I think I'll start there throwing away everything in sight. I need to purge clothes and junk too.

Still working on it, got in a good 5 minutes today. Put the feather bed back on the bed. If you've never had one they are just lovely to sleep on. When you change your sheets every 2 days or so you just give it a good shake and some plumping before you put clean sheets back on. Makes climbing into bed an incredible luxury. Definately boudoir worthy.

    Smile

Tomorrow is the last day of the month. However, since the decluttering challenge room for February won't be posted until Monday, feel free to use Sunday to work on your boudoir, as well.

    Happy Decluttering, ladies!
