I would like to join in and I will try to declutter as much as possible. 10 items seems like a doable task. I have a couple closets and our shed calling my name! We have a garage sale every year in the spring/summer, so stuff that is worth selling will go into the garage sale bin, the rest will be given away or trashed.

    I've been decluttering like mad.

I've done my 10 things a day since my last post and then some. I have 3 full boxes ready to go to goodwill next time we are in the city.

We've taken out 2 full boxes of papers for recycling and a couple of garbage bags went out on Fri.

Yesterday it was warm enough I worked in the old farmhouse for a while. Threw out over 200 items into the dumpster! Yippee!

Today 10 more out in garbage.

I sent ice skates & ski pants home with DD who is 23 & hasn't lived here for 5 years! Woo Hoo!! Also took out stack of papers & bag of food cans for recycling. Gave sister & DD supply of dishrags & scrubbies made during my Jan skills challenge. Baby steps...

Last night I shredded check registers and duplicate check copies from 1998 to 2001 and all the bills from 2007. It was 2 trash bags full of shred and opened up a lot of desk space. I have been known to keep stuff too long......

I also added a few items to the garage sale bin.

Since the last time I posted to this thread, I've thrown out more than 10 items per day.

Yesterday was a big day. Dd changed her bedroom around and threw out 3 bags of garbage. We also dismantled a shelving unit and put it in the garbage. It wasn't worth saving.

I now have 3 full boxes going to goodwill on Wed.

It's amazing how much clutter there is, even when you think you can't declutter anymore.

    Default Clutter-be-gone!

I'm super excited to do some massive de-cluttering! I would love to hit the 25 a day goal.. but with a 11 month old.. finding time to do the dishes some days is rough! I'm going to go for 15 a day, and if it get more then super!!!

I'll join you in this decluttering challenge, a bit modified. I have CFS and I need to adjust my life around it so I don't get sicker. But, I will still declutter if not on a daily basis then weekly, amounts may vary.

    Today:

Taking 2 large grocery bags full of childrens clothing to my Sister's house.

I would also like to join in the challenge. With 6 kids (3 living at home) and a packrat husband, 25 should be a piece of cake. I'll start by taking 6 boxes to the good will today, that will free up more garage space.

What a great idea- well two weekends I went through our closet and made a MASSIVE pile of clothes to give away! Especially because DH lost 85 lbs in the last year (ha, I can't help but brag on him!). I love this idea especially because we are moving in May and we have too much clutter - I hate it!
