Smile Decluttering 25 things a day

After reading an article where the link was included in another thread about a man who was limiting himself to 100 personal items I decided that I would spend the rest of February including today getting rid of 25 items each day

Today, I got rid of (1) old candle holder that was already spent, (1) old printer/scanner (recycled) and 23 old, worn out toys from the grandkids stash in the basement. I also sorted through & threw out some papers that had managed to breed again!

I'm going to try this...I am already going through Lauren's closet this week, so it should be easy for a while

I think this is a good idea but .... I am aiming for 10 things per day starting tomorrow. Will post the numbers daily!

Yeah Debbie, I'm not sure if I will be able to find 25/day, so I'm going to aim for at least 10. I do regular decluttering, so I don't know how much I'll find if I'm doing it daily. Good idea

If it was warm enough to be in the barn and old farmhouse I would probably have no problem getting rid of 100 things per day but it's not so I am out of luck.

I'll go for 10 a day too. I've done lots of decluttering, yet I'm sure there is more to find.

I'm no longer on the library board as I now have a casual job there so all the papers I had now have to go to the new board member. There must be 500 papers, however I'll just count them as my 10 for today. They are packed and ready to go tomorrow.

Ya know, I really could do this! 25 things a day shouldn't be too hard. Got lots of kid's clothes to sort. Those I'll give away though!

Hope I get motivated. I'll be watching here to see how everyone's doing. Hopefully it will push me in the right direction!

Thanks OP, and good start everyone!

Today, I've got 97 things bagged to get rid of (4 big garbage bags)!!! I'm excited, counting seems to help me keep it going, picking things to pass on to someone else. I want to keep the momentum going.

I'd love to join, but I feel like I am barely keeping my head above water in the housekeeping area right now. I'll definately be in when I feel a little better about stuff.
