Thanks, Madhen, I am getting there! Its a slow process for me, but I feel so accomplished to know that I've removed that much STUFF from my house!

    Default back on!!

I was lazy the last couple of months about throwing things out, I did really well for a while and then I found out I was pregnant (and sooo tired), still chasing a toddler and started school back up. But recently my family came for a visit and stayed with me and kept commenting on they couldn't believe I had gotten rid of so much stuff...It was encouraging that they noticed! My husband then reminded me that we took pictures of every rooom in the house when this began and so I looked at them and I too saw a major difference in the way my house looked!!! AND SOOOO...I am back on the wagon! 760 down....A LOT to go

    Thanks Guys!!!

Well, stayed up late to clean the refridge and even got the garbage out but couldn't get to the door shelves. Got up early this morning and flung about 15 bottles of bits and old stuff. Replaced from pantry. Recycled most of the bottles. Then I had to run DD to school about 1 1/2 away. Also plucked my long hair cat. She sheds in clumps but if you brush her you get nothing. So i flung some fur.

I have a friend who recently joined Weight Watchers and I have the old "eating out points" book that I gave her. It was a photocopy in a huge binder, so I'm happy to have that outta here!

For the last five days I have been cutting coupons and then 'flinging' the papers they were in. Monday and Tuesday I 'flung' a bunch of expired coupons. So, I think, five and two days of 'flinging' tons of paper equals seven. I shall add 7 to my total flung.

12 bookshelf/boxes and say 3 boxes of books in yesterday, 11 things out today. 4 more deducted from my total, sigh.

MH, Sorry about the storm...but glad some good came of it too!

I've got 3 clothing items in a grocery bag downstairs to take away, a box o' 17 books (at the moment) to go to the dump. 4 of the new bookcase/boxes are in place in the attic, although only 2 of them have books in them at the moment, so I'll add 2 to my things flung and that's all right now.

I'm working on it! How much for dead mice? I unpacked a box of books a mouse had nested in and apparently mom abandoned the nest, 3 babies in there, now in the vacuum. I've been vacuuming as I go, there's a good deal less mouse mess in the attic than there was 3 days ago, I can tell you! Hopefully, we won't acquire any this season, this is a job I HATE doing, but it has to be done...

Yesterday I took about 50 hangers to the dry cleaners to recycle. Also took a bag of food to donate and finished (at least temporarily) cutting and sorting coupons. I think I will count the hangers as 2 since they were in two different places, count the food as 1 and count the coupon trash as two. That brings me to 5 for a total of 25.

10th box, 61 books out. Bought 11. Gave away 2 pkgs of paperclips and 3 books on tape. Sold 1 large format paperback. I also left various pottery, etc. for sale, but I'll count it if/when it sells.

    SO...61-11 = 50+2+3+1 = 56 out today.

I forgot the sign! One more thing flung!

Judi regarding the mice-Gross. That said: Bring your vaccumn over I have some chimpunks in my attic above the pantry I need sucked up. They are unfortunately alive. How hilarious is it that they are storing acorns in the top while I squirrel away our food in the bottom?

Flung some bad potatoes and cleaned up spilled pickle juice from the bottom of my newly cleaned refridge. Should vaccumn out the van before it gets too cold. There are rumors of warmer weather for next week.

Awesome flinging folks. I have a cold this week so I am moving SLOOOWWW.

Flung one space heater that made me nervous whenever I used it. Decided it wasn't worth the risk.
