Things sure are different around here. A week (or 2?) ago, DH broke one of our favorite mugs. We kept all the pieces. we discovered tonight I was saving them for HIM and HE was saving it for ME...neither of us want to keep the mug...it's outta here!
Also, I looked at the pasta machine. I got this from the dump 3 years ago 5? I was going to work Fimo with it. I never have...it's in the dump pile too!
I DID finish the coupon catalog...all 20 pages worth!! In the process I removed 10 more insert pages I'll never use, so that's done, at least up to THIS Sunday! (Shudder!)
Anyway, my last act tonight is going to be putting the 20 pages of catalog where they go in the notebook, which will be a relief!
The jeans rug is moving along nicely too. One front panel of one pair of jeans yielded about 5" of rug. I don't know what kind of yield I'll get from one panel (front leg or back leg) much less from a pair.
I'll see once it gets bigger, but I"m happy with it. However, it's going to take me a FEW pairs o' jeans to be big enough for the entry where it's supposed to go! I won't count a pair of jeans as gone until I use all 4 panels, so what I've done won't count, yet.
But I'm counting the mug, the pasta machine, and the 10 extra insert pages!!!
P.S. Except I forgot. I got a shipment yesterday of stuff for the booth and Christmas presents for the neighbors 12 mugs and 24 crocks (4 crocks arrived broken). So I'm DOWN 32. 32-12 = -20 pah!!!

In the last couple of days we have thrown out a significant amount of stuff. I wish I could take all the credit, but my youngest dd cleaned out the shed and through away, in her estimate, a couple of hundred items! She said she overfilled four trash cans and had empty boxes flattened out and stacked on the ground. She also put to the curb a couch someone gave her a year or so ago. The day before that we took to the curb our couch and love seat. Someone gave us two couches in much better shape. I used up 5 gifts from my gift closet and reused the bag, tissue paper and bow to put them in. We have used up probably a dozen items from the panty and refrigerator in the last two dinners. Also, Monday night I cut a bunch of coupons and threw away the papers they were in. We have been flinging fools around here! I will count the shed flinging as 200 + 5 gifts from closet + three reused items flung + 12 food items + 20 papers that contained coupons = 240 items flung.

I went through my dye equipment and moved it. In the process I got rid of 8 jars, and several other implements. I'm counting it as 10 total though. Not sure how much little plastic spoons should count as!

A grocery bag full of slides. These were part of an auction lot years ago and I've never done anything with them, so out they go! Also two books today. HOwever, when we went to the dump, he picked up a computer. He wants a board out of it. If the board works, the rest of the computer goes back to the dump (tomorrow?). If it doesn't the computer goes back to the dump tomorow (or whenever).
I hope tomorrow!
There's a bunch of slides. I'm giving myself 50 total for this, the books and (-) the computer!

I haven't been flinging ANYthing lately! Ugh! I'm sure my daily average has gone sky high by now. Got a bit to do.

DH had a colleague who wants the slides. So we went thru the rest. The slides are approx 1/16th" thick, there were 3" of them in the box and 20 stacks, which works out to 960 slides that are going away! (DH found the rest of them, I'd forgotten where I'd put them!
So if I do this like I did yesterday and give myself 50 for each 100 slides (discounting that 100 which is in this too) that would be 900-100=800 or 8 X 50 for 400 more outta here!

Today DH took some things to a thrift shop. 9 paperbacks nad
1 computer, unfortunately, he bought 2 things.
Aside from that, these are gone or in the dump bin: 1 pr jeans (into rug), camera, and 2 cake pans.
I started the 12th box today too, but there's only 4 books in the box, so I won't count it til it's full.
So my count for today is: 9+1-2+4 = 12

I have been flinging like a fool! :) I got rid of about 200 items last week, mostly things like clothes that I finally convinced myself I would never wear again, magazines I'll never read, plastic containers that I'll never find the lids to, etc. and so on. A lot of it went to thrift, but some of it will be adding to the landfills in the area.
