When I closed the bookstore I had THREE storage units FULL of boxes of books, that's a LOT of books. That is why I chose to do 2 times as many things as the original goal, as I knew with a little effort on my part that I could do that in a week or two if I got a dumpster or arranged for someone to haul away a large portion of one of the storage units.
I have 2 storage units these days, the medium one is about 1/2 full, the other (the largest one, unfortunately) has had the first few boxes removed from it, but nothing significant.
The 18 boxes of books that I have yet to deliver for that wholesale sale I made to another dealer will yield something like 900 pieces all by itself. So you see why it wouldn't have been fair for me to only do the original goal!
P.S. btw, those checks I finished shredding this morning? Many of them were from 1981!

Tackled the dogs' room. The good news is that I flung 47 things. The bad news is that most of it was expired cans of food.

Over the past 5-6 days I have flung a lot and so has the rest of my family. I think I figured 74 articles flung between food, gifts, candy, wrapping paper, bows, tissue paper. . . It doesn't look like I am going to make my goal this year, but I am happy to be flinging what I am. I think my goal next year will be 4020 because I still have tons to go.

Gave a muffin tin, a relish tray, a veggie tray, 2 pair of curtains, and a cookie sheet to DD#2.
Gave a pair of curtains, a comforter, an afgahn, and 2 candles to DD#1.
Gave a baking dish, a candy dish and a cookie platter to DIL.
Gave a box of candy, a dozen eggs and a blanket to neighbor.
Tomorrow a load is going to Goodwill. Haven't accounted for it all yet. On my way to the basemant now.

Have been wandering around my house with a discerning eye today. Something like 14 pieces gone so far.

Have finally begun working on catching up on the refunding and couponing - still a ways to go. However, between expired coupons, coupon inserts, papers the coupons come on and the printer paper coupons and the refunding stuff used and some that expired (many of which I could kick myself for) I flung about 100 pieces. Also flung 10 food products last night as well. I am getting fairly close.
