Freecycled six items, so I'm up to 7 items flung; HOWEVER, I also stopped at the yarn store, and picked up seventeen items (some skeins of yarn and a pattern book), so I'm negative 10 right now!!

Absolutely!! I have to fling approximately 200 items a month to meet an average per month to make my goal, so I need to get moving! It was actually good for me, because it made me think about it a bit before I bought the new yarn, and the "price" was two-fold. Not only did I have to pay for it, I had to sacrifice something to keep it. (It was SO worth it, though. Beautiful yarn.)

Two hundred items a month....we're in big trouble when we bring things in.
Glad you're back in the black madhen.
I think what I'll do with paper is count a full bag as 20 items. It'll be brimming and I know there'll be a whole lot more than 20 papers in the bag. I could probably count 2009 papers in the boy's room. Ds#1 is a packrat when it comes to papers. -

I may lurk with this challenge. At this time, there are 306 say left in the year and that would be 6.5xxx items per day. Totally doable from that perspective. I want to count the three bags of recycles that I dropped off today. I will count my recycle bins as one items as I have to take them somewhere to drop them off ~ a little effort is needed on my part there. I just brought three boxes home so I can organize my office at home (January & February resolution gone bad). Hopefully, I can make March my month!
