I am old enough to have actually used a slide rule (and one of those Logarithm tables, too!!!) I took an algebra class last year in order to finish my BS degree, and the teacher and I were the only ones in the class who knew what it was!! My scientific calculator I bought for the class cost $9.96 at WallyWorld.
PS I SMOKED those 17 year old smart alecks who sat behind me texting for 16 weeks instead of paying attention.

I bought DH a calculator for our first Christmas (1975). It was a 'four-banger' (all it did was add, subtract, multiply and divide) and it was his big gift that year. It cost $30!!!
I'm teaching a chemistry lab calss for our homeschool group's teenagers this year, and the calculators do about a thousand times as much (including peel potatoes!) and they're under $10! Now that is progress, friends!

    Day two, 10 tasks x 6 minutes each = 60 minutes
    Day three 8 tasks x 8 minutes = 64 minutes (overtime!!)
    Day four 6 tasks x 10 minutes = 60 minutes
    Day five 4 tasks x 15 minutes = 60 minutes
    Day six 2 tasks x 30 minutes = 60 minutes
    Day seven 1 task x 60 minutes = 60 minutes

Furthermore, I'm starting on Saturday, as it's my 'sleep deprivation day (I only get around 3-4 hours due to my work schedule) and 5 minutes is about all I'll be able to concentrate at a time more than likely.

Ooooohhhh.... my inner nerd is feeling so much better!!!
LOVE THIS You definately helped me with deciding what goes on what day. Thanks

Mom, don't forget that during the days of this challenge, I'll be home and am a willing and able second pair of hands! I won't be joining this challenge on my own, because I won't be in my home, but together we can get some stuff DONE, right?
