OK, you guys are making me feel like a complete slacker this morning -- wait a minute, I just got out of bed after working overnight shift AND I've already completed 19 items yesterday (had to get a head start because of my INSANE work schedule.)

BUT while I was asleep, both teens dragged everything out of their closets, so as soon as I get some of the magical zombie elixir of life in me (black, two splendas) I'm going upstairs for SORT-A-THON 2009. Wait, that would make it sound like I do it every year, and that would be a LIE (more like every decade )

11:21 am - Hey, am I the only one working here?

As of now, livestock trough is cleaned out and refilled. One load of laundry is done. The chicken nests are all restocked with hay, and I even swept out the tack room!!

I just woke up and as I got out of bed, I took the sheets with me - so 1/2 job done.

Breakfast is finished. I'm allowing myself 15 minutes on FV and then I'm back to my list.

Madhen - you are not the only one working I know - the others are busy checking things off their lists to offer up a fait accompli at one time!! I am enjoying reading about your prgress as you go!! Mahalo!!

12:58p - Bunny chew twigs cut. Some will be given immediately (willow) and some have to season a few weeks (peach and pine).

I'm about half way through the truck clutter. It was several boxes of miscellaneous crap, so I'm bringing it up one box at a time to go through it.

I just spent THREE HOURS reaming out the teenagers' closets (with them, of course).

Three large boxes and five bags of trash later, an entire corner of my schoolroom is now full to overflowing with clothing for my daughter's church clothing ministry and yard sale items.

Lucky me, our little town has a Labor Day Festival and it's yard sale day all over town!!!!!

I also cleaned out my kitchen gadget drawers and pot and pan cabinet, did a load of laundry, and found a $50+ textbook I need for an upcoming online Case Management class on ebay for $5!!!

So my total is 27 of the 43 items on the list are completed!!!

Tomorrow, all I'm doing is cleaning off my desk, since it's Sunday and we have church and I am working overnight shift.

The two worst jobs I have left are 1) the black hole back closet and 2) the other black hole under the stairs closet. I am estimating one hour for each.

All my remaining tasks are scheduled on my weekly schedule/ meal planner so ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DO IT!!!

Great work, everyone!! I'm still working on the truck clutter. I have been putting it off for weeks, so it is my big bug-a-boo task for the day.

3:56p - Truck clutter cleaned up and yarn organized!! That leaves me with putting up fly traps (off to do that in about half an hour) and my sock drawer (tonight after it cools off upstairs).

Good idea MC - I know I need to incorporate these things into daily routines - sort of like FlyLady I guess. As I am working on my list for today, I realized that I should have broken some of them into smaller tasks, but then I am getting more done than I had hoped!!

If it becomes overwhelming, MM, it is not to late to edit your list. Remember, the point of the challenge is to succeed!!
