I went through kitchen cupboards and drawers last night and found 53 items for donations and garbage. So I am now at 205, slowly but surely getting there.

~Weeded out two board games this morning and then sorted through three boxes of miscellaneous electronic games stuff and filed a small trash bag. I'm going to count those as 5.~

Went through my plant pots and got rid of 12 of them and went through the first aid kit and found 7 outdated things in there too. So another 19 for the day and I am done till tomorrow. Total is now 236.

I went through hubby's sock drawer (which really collects everything) and the boys sock bins (which also seem to collect much more than socks) and with some other random items from here and there pitched 62 items this weekend.

Some of you are doing awesome!!!! I need to look at this thread more frequently. It is very motivating!

~Yesterday, during my regular cleaning, I tossed:
2 bottles of body spray I didn't like
6 boxes I'd been saving for shipping purposes
    2 computer games
    2 deflated(not fixable)balls
handful of broken things from kids' room
and enough paper trash to fill a kitchen trash bag

Looks pretty nice in here but I still have loads of decluttering to do! I'll count yesterday's work as 25.~

42 odd ball items out this weekend. Several way old computer games that don't work on anyone's PC anymore and had been completely outgrown (Like Freddy Fish). Then hubby amazed me and gave me a couple of clothing items to pitch if i didn't want "what was left of the material", ah..."no, thank-you". Then I hit MY house toolbox and my craft toolbox and the drawer with all those oddball might need household things. That drawer was where I found what needed to go. Lots of stuff went - I mean how many of those little brackets that screw into the frame to hold up mini-blinds do you REALLY need?

I took a small load to the thrift store for donation...probably 30 items. It feels good to pass on those usable items to someone else who can use them!

~I have become so lazy with my flinging lately but today I got back on track.
I sorted through a box of financial papers and flung a grocery bag full.
    I count those as 25.~
